Description

Paganini / Michael Rabin - Caprices 2 LP Box Set

Description: Rare original classical 2 LP box set with original booklet featuring Michael Rabin, violin performing Paganini - Caprices Op. 1 for Unaccompanied Violin

Year: late 1950's-early 1960's

Label/Number: Capitol SPBR-8477 Stereo

Conditions:

Jacket/Sleeve: VG-/G+ (box is visibly worn and crushed with splits and tears, but with decent front cover image still intact and left gatefold seam still intact, original bookley in excellent condition besides the number "23" written with an arrow pointed at the violinist which may have been to indicate his age at the time, this could most likely be erased with the proper method if desired)

Vinyl:

Disc 1 VG-/G++ (excellent gloss but with lots of surface scuffs and marks, plays with light to moderate background noise throughout, occasional light crackle, occasional light clicking, still enjoyable to my ears and plays with NO SKIPS on my turntable)

Disc 2 VG (excellent gloss, mostly light suface scuffs and marks, plays with only light background noise on my turntable, no skips)
