Mike Dierickx aka Push is one of the hour hands of Belgian trance music, his feather-in-cap song 'Strange World' having enjoyed a recent resurgence following Malibu's "forever loop" ambient remix from 2018. His 'Universal Nation' is almost equally as well-known, first coming into this world as a planned B-side to an unreleased song, 'Prisma', before Bonzai's management dared flip the running order last minute. That surprise origin myth led it to become one of the single most-anthologised "uplifting trance" records of the late 90s; it's now studded across by remixes, from cinematic and beatless to techy and dark, from Airwave, Bart Skils, Ferry Corsten and more.
