Description

probably Frankston Victoria area band (that is where Rambler Studio was) with line-up of guitar/bass/drums & singer T.G. Collins. NO listing of this group to be found in the volumes that specialise in listing Aussie acts (and they are extensive.) Name inspired no doubt by Hendrix and I would imagine about a 1968 recording. Walk On Water is a slow brooding, building original which suits the singer's limited vocal range and bursts into a credible Fuzz/wah wah guitar solo. Flip updates Ms Molly to a Hendrix style guitar riff, flailing drum break style with the vocalist approximating the original lyrics to pretty good affect. Disc is solid VG+ with a nice thick VINYL press and just a few pops/clicks/minor surface. Australian custom press garage era records are rare enough (most acts were signed to existing labels) but this one is definitely SUPER RARE - previously unseen by myself or a few others contacted for info.
