This is the original 12 inch 45rpm 3 record set released in the round tin.
- Vinyl - good - very good (see photos for imperfections).
- Tin - tarnished with age, and I have never tried to polish the tin. It still has the original "METAL 1" sticker.
- Circular paper inserts - very good.
- Track Listing - very good.
You can see from the photos that the vinyl looks great and shiny.
I have tried to show from the photos the condition and have angled the photos to show the imperfections.
- There is a noticable spindle mark on Disc 3 1F.
- There is a mark on Disc 1 1A which is a feint line radiating out. See photo 10.
- There is also a mark on Disc 3 side 1E which looks like a smudge see photo 12. I don't think these marks are audible but I do not have a record player to check.
The photos make the marks look worse than they are but I want to be sure there are no surprises.
I bought this myself from Virgin Records in Bull Street, Birmingham in 1979.
I know for certain it has not been played or even out of the tin for over 25 years. I went to the PIL concert in Birmingham just before Christmas and I was blown away. I had forgotten how powerful these tracks are.
