PSYCH/ACID LP - The VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO – Warho

Great and debut release by the legendary Velvet Underground. This is the Stereo version on VERVE V6-5008 WITHOUT the torso back. The cover has some water damage to the bottom as can be seen in the picture. The banana in intact, but it may have been peeled before. I grade the cover VG due to the water damage. The seams are all intact except for a small area of wear on the spine. The record play grades between VG and VG- on side 1 and plays a nice VG on side 2. Check out my other auctions for more great LPs this week. Good Luck!

Grading Scale:

NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.

VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.

VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.

G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.

Fair/Poor = I do not ever sell records at this grade, but they would be cracked, severly warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
