This is an EX / EX copy of this MUCH SOUGHT & WONDERFUL UK VINYL LP by AFFINITY's LINDA HOYLE - "PIECES OF ME" - released in 1971 on VERTIGO Records - 6360 060. It is an original pressing with the legendary SWIRL VERTIGO labels. There are certain records where the music and the performance create something of a legend and this is definately one of them. It is a wonderful eclectic mix of Affinity style 'rock', with powerful ballads, jazz and even barrelhouse. Her voice and performance are amazing and the band are of course stunning. Pehaps this was the cause of it's low saleson it's original release, those varying musical ideas that make it so desirable and listenable today. The desire to own an original copy of this LP has never died and very few copies surface. This is a nice copy. The vinyl has retained it's original lustre and I have had it professionally cleaned - and I don't mean in the sink! Therefor I can report that there are no major faults with this copy - no jumps or scratches and it is a strong EX, with just the occasional sonic 'tick' you get with old vinyl played very loud! It's simply old age creeping into the grooves.The non-laminate sleeve is in excellent general shape, with a strong spine that is readable. There are no rips or tears and just one small 'sticker' removal mark at the top r/h corner, which has been blacked in to good effect. As it lies in the border, it does not effect the look of the sleeve. As with all 'used' non-laminates there is colour loss. Because of the black border, the edges have lost a little colour, there is a strip of colour loss to the right of the spine and there is a hint of ring wear on the back, but it still looks fine. A rare chance to own a nice copy of a very desirable classic from the SWIRL VERTIGO vaults!
