Description

This is an EX / EX copy of this RARE UK VINYL LP BY ECLECTION - "ECLECTION" - released On ELEXTRA Records in 1968. One of the great folk rock cross-over LPs of the period with a snap of pop with the wonderful single "NEVER THE LESS" that the band performed on the SIMON DEE show at the time of release (anyone got a video - I'd love to see that again!). The laminated gatefold sleeve is in fine shape, but there is some small creasing from the sine out into the front and rear of the sleeve, but only very short creases. The spine is sturdy and readable, but has lost a little colourin places. There is one crease at the top left hand corner of the rear of the gatefold. Non of these things takes anything away from this classic UK sleeve. The disc has been played, but carefully, with spindle marks visible on the classic Elektra lables. There is some noise in the usual quiet bits, but geberally I'm happy with the EX grading. A truely wonderful LP and on Side 1, in particular, something very special was going on here. GREAT STUFF - ESSENTIAL!
