Description

This is my MINT / MINT copy of this RARE ORIGINAL UK PRESSING of ANANDA SHANKAR's LP "ANANDA SHANKAR", released in 1970 on REPRISE RECORDS RSLP 6398. This is an original Uk pressing and the two reprise labels have the large steamboat image on the labels. The single sleeve, laminated on both sides is MINT with a fully readable spine. There is no visible sign of edge wear and no dreaded creasing in the laminate! The disc is in MINT condition, with no marks to disc or the Reprise labels. Featuring some great cross-over versions of white rock songs, particularly opener JUMPIN' JACK FLASH, coupled with some new versions of traditional Indian themes, this is a RARE & MUCH SOUGHT AFTER LP by COLLECTORS & CONTEMPORARY DJs ALSO. ESSENTIAL!
