If you are looking for great REEL TO REEL tapes ADD US TO YOUR FAVORITES LIST! We specialize in HIGH QUALITY open reel recordings of music, personality interviews, old radio shows and more.
Tape speed is usually 15ips but we also sell recordings at 7.5ips, 3.75ips and occasionally 30ips.
Every tape has been checked for quality. Most of the tapes are in near perfect condition but If there's a problem, we'll tell you. You won't have to "guess" about what you are getting. Our goal is for YOU to be happy with your purchase. If we make a mistake there's no need to get angry. TELL US ABOUT IT. If it's humanly possible, we will fix the problem to YOUR satisfaction!
Where possible, we combine shipping charges. We will hold Items won for up to 10 days to combine shipping but the items MUST be paid for when they are won. We will deduct the overpayment of shipping charges from the invoice as you pay for each item or group of items. Up for sale is this 15ips, 2 track stereo, MASTER TAPE of various songs, used by a company called "House Of Music," to prepare Programmed Music reels for radio stations to broadcast in the overnight hours when they did not need DJ's to spin records. These particular tapes were generally used by "Easy Listening" stations around the country because it was far easier and less expensive to have tapes running all night with only an engineer to stop & start the tape machine and do the commercial inserts.
These reels have leader at the head and tail as well as between each song. The songs on these reels represent some of the most popular and memorable musical themes. Some of the highlights from this reel are; Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head Call Me By The Time I Get To Phoenix It's Alright With Me This Guy's In Love Red, Red Robin

Not all of the artists are on all of the tapes because each tape features a mixed group of performers but the music is of uniformly high quality on all of the tapes and the sound is really amazing! Most tapes have a tone set at the head. This reel has some minor damage to the tape at the head.
Each tape runs for approximately 45 minutes (in one direction only) at 15ips and comes in the eco-pack box as shown in the picture. You can choose to listen to the tapes as is or erase them and record your own music on them.
All of the programs are recorded on Ampex 407 tape. These tapes have been properly de-hydrated and will play perfectly when you get them. You may find a little shedding on rewind but the tapes will not stick or shed in playback. Like all Ampex 407 tapes, they will need to be "baked" again sometime in the future. How soon depends a lot on the climate where you live. A warm damp climate will require baking sooner and cold dry one will require baking later. It's that simple.

This will be WELL PACKAGED and shipped via Media Mail in the U. S. & via First Class Mail International to other countries, unless the winner wants it shipped by another method. Most orders shipped within hours of receipt of cleared funds but WE DO NOT ship on Saturday.
