on the sidney records label, stereo pressing, from 1974. 10 tracks: today is the first day; trade winds; rain sometimes; lady day & john coltrane; that's all right with me; he's come back; too soon you're old; slow hot wind; what's goin on; amazing grace. produced and arranged by ray tabs (check my other auctions for his 2lp "i'm in love with you" that is currently up), strings arranged and conducted by richard evans on "too soon you're old and "today is the first day". fantastic jazz/soul lp that is nearly impossible to find on the original red label, later press was on the green label. this one is signed by penny goodwin on the cover......it reads: "peace & love penny goodwin". cover is VG, with 7" split on bottom seam, 4" split in upper left, 1" split on upper right corner, staining on front cover, and some light ring and other seam wear. vinyl is VG+, with a few light paper scuffs, and a couple light marks, still a great copy of a VERY RARE lp. vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. check my other auctions for a great batch of funk/soul/jazz records, many still in the shrink, as well as a batch of rare northern soul singles, and some other lp's as well....lots of great stuff this week. all records are original pressings unless noted....i do not sell current reissues. please ask any questions early, as i am not always by my computer near the end of auctions. buyer pays shipping. all records are shipped in dedicated record mailers, with cardboard inserts. i accept money orders and paypal. priority shipping within the US is $6.00. airmail shipping to EUROPE is $11.00. airmail shipping to JAPAN is $14.00. sorry, but i will not ship surface overseas, i've had too many things lost in the mail via surface shipping. payment is expected within 10 days of auction end. thanks for looking, and good luck.
