Description
Hi, this is a US LP by Transition, "2nd Time Around", released on MC3 MC7114. This is an ORIGINAL pressing! This LP was SEALED, but I opened it for inspection. The record is NEAR MINT, and the cover is VG++, still in shrink with some upper seam wear. Nice!

Among the originals, Side 1 stand-outs are “Strawberry Days”, a hippie goddess folk rocker with angelic dual female vocals and a heavy electric guitar rhythm; “Right On”, a psychy folk rocker which has the sound of a teenage Bob Edmund, complete with garagy organ/drum backing; and “Go With the Game”, a rocker with a slightly funky rhythm guitar and bass line, a secondary trumpet melody and a Lee Oskar War-like harmonica solo.
Side 2 highlights include “Smile At the Sun”, with a mellow Annie Haslam style vocal and jazz-tinged electric keyboard backing (a bit reminiscent of early Steely Dan - think “Do It Again”); “KS Rebellion” a male vox folk song with odd lyrics (“Go fight your battle, Go herd your cattle”); and “the closing “Vida Blues”, a thumping bass blues jam with cool dixieland style trumpet leads and a wailing harmonica solo or two.
All records are professionally packaged in custom mailer boxes and protected on the inside by thick cardboard filler pads.All records are removed from the cover prior to shipment unless requested otherwise or still sealed.
