"Pater noster" by André MEURANT, solo tenor, Henriette PUIG-ROGET, organ, Louis MARTINI cond. the Chorale des Jeunesses Musicales de France.
"Sonatine" by Jean-Pierre RAMPAL, flute, Roland CHARMY, violin, Geneviève JOY, piano.

Fred BARLOW (1881-1951) is an unfortunately unknown french composer, although Maurice RAVEL did admire his "Sonatine", and many composers and critics regard him as a great musician ( his friends are, among others, AUBERT, AURIC, BONDEVILLE, Nadia BOULANGER, DANIEL-LESUR, Marius CONSTANT, Darius MILHAUD ). Some great french critics put the "Sonatine" among the most beautiful pages of the french chamber music. No doubt this piece is ONE OF THE RAREST RAMPAL's RECORDINGS. The violinist Roland CHARMY has played with OUBRADOUS, NAVARRA, RAMPAL, and PERLEMUTER (in "Mozart à Paris").

SLEEVE CONDITION : VG (no split, nice front except handling signs, some black dirt on back, seems printing ink)

RECORD CONDITION : VG (good enough vinyl but slightly present, few ticks, very rare single light cracks)
