This is a DIFFERENT VERSION of "Blade Of Grass" than the one found on the discovered tape version that was eventually issued on CD that we all love and enjoy! This version is as just as good and some may prefer this version. It sounds like this recording was recorded in a real studio, while the circulating tape sounds like more of a basement recording. This version has Lee whispering right in your ear! Same odd and creepy delivery! A side is an Irish Polka that actually grew on me quite quick, being a good melodic tune. The weird "Blade Of Grass" is the B side. Irwin Chusid reviews Lee Edwards in "Songs In The Key Of Z".
