Description

The Pretty Things: "S.F. Sorrow" 1969, USA/Rare Earth RS 506. Disc is in amazing M- shape, cover is in  EX  shape, no way to get a better copy of this! Wow, this is the cleanest USA gatefold "tombstone cover" edition of their masterpiece that I've ever seen! Hard not to love this LP, what with the proto-metal of "Old Man Going", the freakbeaty "She Says Good Morning", a psych monster like "Balloon Burning", etc. This unique American edition is rarer than any British or German edition, that's for sure. The label surely didn't make more than a few thousand and it didn't sell. What a tragedy... this LP is one of the best of all time, I can't imagine not owning it. TOP COPY!
