Hi,please read the description of this auction,Im not a record dealer,just a normal guy who found a collection of vinyl LP's in a garage and after many years Ive decided to sell a few off to true collectors who will enjoy,and play them,it seems a shame they dont get played by me!
Also Im not up to spec with grading records,Im just a music enthusiast and I welcome any questions on the condition of the record or any other information you need.

So here we have a the Pretty Things LP S.F. Sorrow,which I think is the first pressing of this LP.
I have read the mono version is the one to own,and the bands preferred mix of the album,and what a great album too,possibly the first rock concept album.
The details are as follows

The number is SX 6306 on Columbia records
The numbers on the record are xax.3738 side 1 and xxx.3739 on side 2

The condition of the cover is geat it has a few creases and the spine is a little flattened and a small amount of wear on the front.
The record itself has been played very little,I know this because the person I got them from bought it new,and made a recording of the album on its first spin,and hardly played it after,it has light scratches where its been taken in and out of its sleeve,it has a larger scratch on side 2 that runs from the outside to about the finish of track 3,I have played it on my player,and I cant hear it,but I dont have a professional player!
On side one there is a mark on track 5 which can be heard for about four revolutions of the disc,It looks like it may clean off,But I dont wish to do this.
The hole in the middle has very little wear too.
Im sure the record could do with a professional clean,I dont have the time or money to do this and I dont want to clean it myself.

I will post this worldwide,and I will work with the winner on how they would like it shipped,I will try to get some boxes to post it in to protect it.

I have just listened to the tale of SF Sorrow on my record deck,it plays with no jumping or skipping apart from the mentioned noise above,it has crackle,but only really noticable inbetween the tracks,Im sure with a clean it will improve greatly,it has dust visable on it,Im sure some anti-static treatment will help too.
Its a fantastic album,Ive not listened to it from beginning to end before,Im sure to get another copy on CD for myself,The mix in mono sounds great!
