Sleeve
- Laminated gatefold made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London
- Inside gatefold contains lyrics
- New white poly-lined paper record sleeve, original EMI paper 'advertising releases' sleeve in poor condition but has been retained within
Condition: Very Good
- The sleeve has been subject to normal wear & tear throughout it's nearly 40 years of shelf storage & use
- The sleeve has been subject to flex creasing, so the laminate has buckled at these points, otherwise it's quite clean
- There is a little grime at the edges & the corners have been bumped
- Minor split on spine [10mm]
- The inner part of the gatefold sleeve is excellent & is clean, except for a minor water stain in one corner
Record Condition: Very Good Plus
- The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality except 'Death' which is
- One minor click lasting 4 revolutions to the end of 'Well Of Destiny'
- There is no warping, so the record is absolutely flat with a lovely sheen
- Light surface scratches & only those blemishes just described
- Otherwise the record plays superbly. I listened to it twice [first time I have heard it in it's entirety] and enjoyed the music. First play was to identify any faults
- This record has been listened to throughout on a Pro-Ject Debut turntable
Centre Labels Condition: Excellent
- Black with blue relief, as manufactered
- A couple of light spindle marks
- Clean
Overall
- Basically I believe this release is a an extremely good investment indeed. It plays to a very high standard & so can be throughly enjoyed. I think the sleeve to be in pretty good shape & hard to find in this good a condition
- Please check my feedback from others who have brought from me other collectable records & found them to be as I have described
- Auction starting at just 99p, although there is a reserve, this is well below it's 'very good' grading valuation
