PORTLAND RECORDING STUDIOS LTD UK 1979 7" DOUBLE-SIDED ACETATE WITH PYRAL SLEEVE
Super rare original 2-sided acetate of the great Rough Trade punk release (Rough Trade/Vindaloo Records RT040/UGH.2 UK 1979 7" not issued in ps), this is the first band by Robert Lloyd who later formed The Nightingales - Prefects was a legendary punk band which toured with The Clash - The Buzzcocks - The Damned - The Slits - The Fall, and many other major punk bands - this is the only known copy on acetate of their superb single on Vindaloo / Rough Trade (see Mario Panciera's excellent 45 Revolutions book for more details on band and single) - this acetate doesn't have duration of tracks so not sure if these would be the exact cuts as on the actual releae, or different cuts - a historic punk new wave collectible in nice condition for an acetate.
