Description
Possessed-"Exploration" (Rise Above Relics) 1971/2006 UK lp + 7"
Recorded in 1971,but released for the first time in 2006.Had it been released back then,we would now talk about one of the all-time-classic lps of british rock.High quality heavy progressive rock;to my ears it sounds like a more progressive and adventurous Led Zeppelin, but still very original and with their own sound.
With L.Zeppelin,Possessed had in common more than some music similarities.Their mainman was previously a Band Of Joy member (the first known Band Of Joy photo can be seen on lp's great insert, among two dozens of other rare photos-some of them regarding Led Zeppelin),and was his cousin who married Robert Plant.Within the tons of liner notes you can read more about the connection between the two bands during the early 70's.
The vinyl version of this album is long sold out and when a copy surfaces, sells for high amounts. With the lp comes as a bonus a 7",replica of band's sole acetate.
Purple vinyl, limited to 400 copies. Cover MINT-. Lp EXCELLENT. 7" MINT- . Strict grading!
