POPOL VUH Affenstunde (Liberty LBS 83 460 1) RARE Import Original MINT-

Very RARE German original copy of Popol Vuh`s debut album "Affenstunde", issued on Liberty Records (1970). Regarded by cadets of inner space as one of the pioneering works of ambient music, "Affenstunde" features Florian Fricke`s distinct, emotional playing on the Moog synthesizer, coupled with Holger Trülzsch`s ethnic percussion.
A Krautrock collector`s dream, especially in a condition this nice.

Grading:

VG++ to MINT- COVER. Matt gatefold sleeve with only a hint of edgewear, as well as a few very light creases to the spine. Please see photos for details.

VG++ to MINT- RECORD. The record has a few lightest hairlines from sleeve removal only. A few barely audible light clicks occur on side one (in the last track "Ich mache einen Spiegel/Dream Part 49" only). Side two is acoustically perfect.

"A1" and "B1" matrix stamps in the run-out grooves show this record to be an original German 1st pressing.
