POCO Poco (CBS 64082) Same Buffalo Springfield RARE Early UK Pressing MINT
RARE early UK pressing of Poco`s self-titled masterpiece "Poco", released on CBS Records (May 1970). The unlaminated second pressing sleeve (from 1971) contains an original, first UK pressing vinyl.
Featuring Jim Messina and Richie Furay from that most quintessential of West Coast folk-rock bands, Buffalo Springfield, Poco finally found their own distinct sound with the most excellent sophomore effort. A distillation of the finest elements of contemporaries CSN&Y, middle-period Byrds and with some distinctly latin elements that were soon to fully blossom in Manassas, "Poco" stands the test of time well: A full-blown country-rock classic, no less.
 GRADING:
MINT- COVER with absolutely minimal signs of wear. Please see the photos for details.
- Unlaminated sleeve, still an early pressing.
- Tiny graze to the spine (¾ inch long; at bottom left).
- Minimal scuffing to bottom edge. Otherwise near-perfect.
- Also includes original, custom-printed CBS inner sleeve in EX++ condition.

MINT- RECORD that looks almost unplayed. Absolutely peerless audio reproduction throughout.
- Original, dark orange UK CBS labels denote a first issue of this record.
- Labels with absolutely no spindle wear at all.
- A few lightest hairlines from sleeve removal, visible only under bright light.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "S 64082 A-1" and "S 64082 B-1", thereby clearly denoting a first UK pressing.
PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay, this item is in honestly-graded MINT- condition: You will not find another copy of "Poco" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price. "True value for money" is the motto here!
