'The Seven Deadly Sins'
Probe, USA, 1969
CPLP 4513
KILLER BRITISH heavy psych band featuring Tony Newman on drums later to form May Blitz, Three Man Army and the Jeff Beck Group. The music here sits right on the cusp of psychedelia and heavy prog just like Andromeda, Rare Amber and Horse. With spooky spoken word sections (black Mass stuff) setting the scene the music explodes out of the grooves with manevolent intent. This is primo late sixties heavy psych with all the right moves. A truly great album and completely overlooked by mots collectors as its so hard to find.
Beautiful MINT copy.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Probe, USA, 1969
Vinyl: Beautiful virtually unplayed condition. No spindle marks and virtually no signs of use. Grades as MINT!
Cover: No visible signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed fully textured, die cut and embossed gate fold cover - still in shrink! Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and square. Impossible to find like this after 49 years. Looks like it walked out of the factory yesterday. Grades as MINT!
Inserts: None
Matrix:

Side One: CPLP 4513 - A1
Side Two: CPLP 4513 - B1
