Far Out 1967 Promo 7" from a teenaged Suzi Quatro & her Sisters!

On this, their 2nd single-released as a double A-Side 7" for Promotion Only-Suzi Quatro & her sisters had stepped up to a cleaner sound in the recording studio and tighter performances than their 1965 independent label release (on Hideout Records).

Check out the stellar, grinding organ on the A-side; the psych-pop gem "Light of Love".  The B-side, "Good Kind of Hurt", is a deep soul-style number.  We find Suzi belting it out ala Aretha Franklin or Tina Turner throughout the song. No doubt she was influenced by the Motown scene, which was hitting its stride in Quatro's Detroit home at the time.

The Pleasure Seekers hold the distinction of being the earliest All Female Rock Groups to be signed to a Major Label (Mercury).

Record is in Mint/Unplayed/Stellar Condition.

Judging from how exceptional the condition of this 45 is, I wouldn't be surprised if the record had been played for the first time when I played it to record it!  Labels have some very miniscule separation occurring (common for these singles - see pictures)

This single is RARELY offered for sale.

When it is, it's usually in terrible condition.

There is no doubt this single you're bidding on is one of the "Holy Grails" in Garage/Psyche collecting, not to mention All Girl Groups.

You will be hard pressed to come across

a nicer, cleaner copy.
