PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

RARE 1971 HEAVY GUITAR ROCK IMPACT OF SOUND!!!
~ HELP ~
Second Coming
\ USA - DECCA RECORDS - DL 75304
RARE ... ADVANCED RELEASE PROMOTIONAL Scarce & wanted 1971 original vinyl on the USA DECCA label . The second HELP album is a burning hard rocker with relentless heavy lead guitar all over the place and within tight self composed gems...the lead off track was an easy early pick to a famous garage psych compilation way back in the early 80's when psych Lp's were still uncovered by collectors... This much heavier second album is the one that most collectors know, due to lots of fuzz and wah wah on the guitars. The sparse trio format is the same as on the first album, except that the clean guitar is replaced by distortion and effects. With all three members again contributing material, the all-original set managed to meld some blazing hard rock moves with an occasional dash of psych, and some surprisingly commercial touches. For a trio these guys generated quite a bit of energy (to say nothing of volume - try cranking this one up on a good stereo). McCracken underscored his credentials as one kick-as* drummer, ensuring that his contributions were always more than a steady backbeat (check out the way he kicked the rocker All Day' along'). Merrill showed himself to be a multifaceted guitarist (hard to believe he didn't make the big time with another band), while Rochan proved an innovative bassist - check out his bass line on 'Hold On Child'. The funny thing is, listening to this one dozens of times over the years and never been able to come up with a better known group that would serve as a benchmark for comparison. About the best one might be able to come up with is describing them as a more talented and commercial version of Sir Lord Baltimore (which happens to be a band that we like). Exemplified by songs like '' and '' this was clearly hard rock, but these songs were full of memorable melodies and some great harmony vocals. Elsewhere 'Hold On Child' deserved notice as one of the few songs that managed to include solo slots for all three members without becoming plodding and overindulgent - the whole thing clocked in under 4 minutes. Merrill's screaming lead solo on the track is almost worth the entire price of admission. Elsewhere opening up with Merrill's double tracked leads the extended, bluesy 'Dear Lord' was another pick for standout track. Jack Merril : Guitar & VocalistRob Rochan : Bass & Congas
