S.C.O.P.A. - Invisible LTM 1001 - France

A very controversial group in their native Czechoslovakia, PLASTIC PEOPLE OF THE UNIVERSE released their albums on cassettes. This, their most important album, was made in 1973 and issued on vinyl for the first time in 1978 in France, with a giant black & white book with lyrics and pictures. This is one of those first issue vinyl copies.

COVER - Gatefold cover in perfect condition and kept in its shrinkwrap since new. Graded NM.
The giant 60-page book contains black & white pictures of the group, drawings, lyrics and texts (in English) on the band and the Czech music scene.

INNER - Standard clear plastic protective bag.

VINYL - Clean and shiny, plays very well with minimal background noise. Graded NM.
Record playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

LABELS - Original black & silver labels in perfect condition with no tears or writings.

RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE'S GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD:The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. 

FAIR:The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

Please notice that I don't use Mint but NEAR MINT (which is very close but refers to a secondhand used record) except for Sealed/Brand New/Unplayed records, and I don't sell Poor or unplayable records. I try to be as honest as possible when grading records, but a mistake can be made from time to time.

Un gruppo molto temuto dalle autorità cecoslovacche, i PLASTIC PEOPLE OF THE UNIVERSE produssero i loro album originali solo su cassetta. Questo, il loro disco più importante fu realizzato nel 1973 e stampato in vinile per la prima volta nel 1978 in Francia, con un libro allegato comprendente testi e immagini. Questa in vendita è una di quelle copie originali.

COPERTINA - Apribile, in condizioni perfette e tenuta sempre nel cellophan originale. Condizioni NM.
Il libro, di grandi dimensioni e con 60 pagine, contiene foto in bianco e nero del gruppo, disegni, testi delle canzoni e articoli sul gruppo e sulla musica in Cecoslovacchia, scritti in inglese

BUSTA INTERNA - Busta protettiva in plastica trasperente.

VINILE - Pulito e scintillante, suona benissimo con rumore di fondo limitatissimo. Valutato NM.
Disco ascoltato con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5gr.

ETICHETTE - Originali nere con scruitte argento. Condizioni perfette senza strappi né scritte
