This is an excellent collection for die-hard fans only. For PJ Harvey fans who have not heard her B-Sides it is simply enough to say that they are by far some of her best work, most eclipsing many album tracks. The same goes for the various other recordings she's put out alone on various soundtracks, tribute albums and guest appearences on friends albums.

A fairly unknown addition is the exclusive "Dry Demonstration" album. Released in a very limited quantity when Dry was released as an extra LP consiting of demo versions of the entire Dry album. Done by PJ herself on her 4 track, this shows a deep insight into the evolution of PJ's first album and her song writing process.

An incredible contribution to this set are the various radio and tv sessions PJ has performed throughout the years. Included here are 65 tracks featuring some of her finest performances and some of her best interviews. Some of these sessions exceed the album versions in performance and sometimes quality.

The real meat of this amalgamation is in the 35 live concerts though, and these certainly deliver. Some of PJ's best moments recorded to tape are not on the albums, but within these shows. Virtually every incarnation PJ has gone through is represented here from the "Dry" era onward all the way to the current "Uh Huh Her" era. This means that almost every song from the Pjs catalogue gets the live treatment somewhere along the road. The sound quality ranges from decent to suberb, many of the recordings eclipsing "Radio Performances" in quality.
