Here's a 1988 OG FIRST US PRESSING of THE PIXIES LP - SURFER ROSA on the ROUGH TRADE LABEL. CAT#CAD803/ROUGHUS38. They're a super cool band that started in the late 80s. Mixing a combo of driving rock with popish lyrics and male/female harmonies, they were different from the rest, and were a fun band live, an influential band, and a band who's LPs are great. This is a really great LP from them, and pretty rare. It was the height of the CD era, so fewer people were buying LPs like this on vinyl. Now that CDs are going the way of the dinosaur, records like this are in greater demand, but with limited supply.
This copy is pristine. It's perfect in every way. The cover is beautiful, NEAR MINT. Spine is perfect. The Vinyl plays perfectly, The labels are beautiful. The gold inner is VG+ with a touch of handling and some clue separation on both sides by the opening. This gan be regaled, but that's not anything I do. It plays NEAR MINT. A top copy- holy grail 80s LP- very difficult to find one like this.
