This is an original 1968 copy in rare mono. When we bought this new in 1968, we had pre-ordered it and picked it up on the very first day of availability. It is, therefore, one of the very earliest and it has the rare mispress on the cover and label where Dave Gilmour's name is misspelt Gilmore. Later copies were changed.
The cover is in superb condition...no tears, writing, ring wear or miscolour and the only creases are a couple of half moon type near the opening.
The labels are blue and lack Columbia and the record itself is visually wonderful with a great glossy finish. It plays well with no jumping or sticking. You can occasionally hear some light noise in the quieter bits but it does not detract from the overall collectability of this record. 1 and 2 are stamped sideways near the xax number in the runoff as well as the letter H (also sideways) on side 1.
This record is very scarce so don't miss this opportunity to buy. Thanks for looking.
