Genuine UK 1st pressing Floyd LP in staggering MONO!!! I have said this before so i may as well say it again MONO + STEREO of this LP are really TOP,both slightly different but equally as good as each other,whereas STEREO in PIPER is a short change in my book,it looses its raw twangy energy + powerful drive on tracks,Interstella Overdrive a culpret,which is what PIPER is all about,an aural shattering experience.This isnt PIPER this IS A Saucerful Of Secrets,a fantastic trip,a psycheadelic mind warp in places,A TOP FLOYD RARITY!!!!!
The MONO flipbacked Garrod + Lofthouse sleeve is really clean + very solid as well with minimal creases + great spine with 2 light shallow creases,edges are solid too,NO writing from DAVE or KEVIN which is ALWAYS good,NO ringwear to rear,slight corner wear,this grades easy EX
1st press vinyl has a very nice gloss as shown in pictures,NOT WARPED 100% FLAT!!There are NO abusive scratches to either side!!! Under angled light are some very fine hairlines,but this is a very good quality vinyl,it plays with NO DISTORTION,the reproduction in sound is great,plays with only a very light static in places that is NOT intrusive,a great play,playgrades EX
Has the mispelled GILMORE on records label + the rear of sleeve which the early copies did as a credit on ASFO Secrets!!!!
