Description

This is the 1977 pre-barcode Italian Pressing of `Wish You Were Here` by `Pink Floyd` which still amazingly retains its outer Black Plastic Bag (usually discarded on purchase) also the original identification sticker, it comes with postcard and inner card sleeve.

Vinyl Grading (VG+) under bright LED lights I can see the usual sleeve removal scuffs/marks (due to the inner sleeve being a rough cardboard) it played through fine with no sticks/jumps or feelable scratches with some dust crackle on the quiet sections and some surface noise on the very end fade out of the second side.

Label - Clean labels - just a few visible spindle lines
Inserts (VG) : inner sleeve has some ageing, also a couple of small nicks plus slight edge cut (see photos) plus rare postcard insert has small corner crease

Sleeve Grading (VG) single sleeve, showing some ageing on edge, most of the sleeve is covered by the original black plastic bag which is still attached and retains its identification sticker (this is very unusual as this was usually discarded by most people on purchase (Please see photos for complete overview)

Packing Details – Every record will have the following:

Records placed separate from sleeve to avoid knifing
Sleeve and Vinyl placed in Polythene outer

2x 12” Card stiffeners to protect from bending

Sealed in bubble wrap for extra protection

placed in cruciform professional record mailer

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in UK Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
