Description
• Disc condition: EX The disc is flat to the deck no dishing or warping evident. Has only a small amount of spindle wear. Visually with a few light hairlines. Really nice punchy audio, and for the most part plays as EX(+).
• Sleeve condition: EX - Ernest J Day & Co Laminated glossy front sleeve with back flapbacks. Has just a couple of light creases to the front cover and light yellowing to back sleeve. Spine lettering is all legible and sharp.
• Matrix/stampers: YAX 3419-1 1 GR YAX 3420-1 1 GM
• This is the rare 2nd UK stereo 1969 pressing identified by the 1 EMI boxed logo. The sleeve (we are sure) is a leftover printing from the 2nd 1967 pressing as there is no difference with that one (which is a fairly normal practice for record labels back then). Perhaps the clue lies in the code at the bottom of the sleeve that reads "6709". There were two EMI one box repressings from 1969 and this one is undoubtedly the rarest of the two and this would figure, as with leftover sleeves you aren't going to have many. Comes complete with the correct maroon and cream EMI company printed inner paper sleeve, although the disc is housed in a brand new polylined inner to protect against any scratches.
