Description

Welcome to my auctions. I am selling some of my collection of original LPs which are mostly from the 1960s and 1970s.

They have not been played for many years and I am unable to test them, so I will do my best to describe how they look. These records are not mint. They should all be fine for the average music fan or record collector but they will not suit everybody so please do not bid if you are looking for perfect copies. They were all bought and played at the time of release and many of them have general signs of use, but only the typical sort of thing you would expect with records of this age. I would say they are typical, used records, with some better than others.

I would like these records to go to good homes where they will be appreciated, so please do not bid if you are a dealer looking to re-sell them for profit. Also, please do not bid if you are the sort of person who is likely to complain over small things to try and get a discount. They are sold as seen. I will give an accurate and honest description, but I am not an expert, so if there is something you need to know about the record, please ask before bidding.  I will be happy to answer any questions.

This record is graded as follows:

Cover: Good

Inner sleeve: paper sleeve

A side label: Very Good
B side label: Very Good

A side vinyl: Very Good
B side vinyl: Very Good-

Unless stated otherwise there are no stickers, writing etc on the labels or cover.

Please email me any questions, which I will be happy to answer.

Here are my P&P rates for these records

UK: First LP = £4.00, each additional LP = £1.00
Europe: First LP = £5.50, each additional LP = £2.20
Rest of the World: First LP = £8.00, each additional LP = £3.50

In line with Paypal guidance, any orders valued over £39 will be sent insured. This will be an extra £2.50 in the UK and an extra £6.75 to anywhere outside the UK.

The gradings in my listings are based on the UK Record Collector grading system as shown below, (although it is only based on how they look as I can't play them):

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."

For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are added to the grading.
