PINK FLOYD - ATOM HEART MOTHER
Increasingly hard to find and great condition 1971 UK 1st press Floyd prog gem
Year/Label : 1971 UK HARVEST Label number : SHVL 781 Matrix numbers : SHVL 781 A - 1G, SHVL 781 B - 1G Stampers : 14 11 R / 2 1.1 0Excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl (some would grade as "near mint", I am sure) - completely flat, weighty and retaining a beautiful jet black lacquered sheen, coming across as unmarked in normal daylight and even with close inspection under a bright light difficult to find any blemishes at all - perhaps just a couple of smal land extremely fine paper scuffs. The labels are in excellent plus (EX+) condition also - just a few very small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label, otehrwise pristine. Note the absence on the labels of the "EMI" box, indicating a very 1st UK pressing. Clearly this is a record that has been only very sparingly played. Excellent (EX) condition non-laminated iconic outer gatefold sleeve with firm and completely unscuffed edges, a rigid spine with all spine text remaining perfectly intact, nicely defined right angled corners, firm opening edges with just, and all photos, text, and beautiful art-work remaining vibrant, crisp, and wonderfully defined. The only blemishes (each very minior) are just the hint of some very minor fraying on the front sideright edge, a little compression on the front side bottom right corner, a few non-obvious 1-2cm "crinkle" lines adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on both the front and reverse sides, and a couple of barely noticeable small handling/storage marks. This iconic 70's gatefold sleeve remains fully functional and eminently presentable and hard to believe that it is now 54 years of age! Superb, excellent plus (EX+) sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear stereo reproduction throughout with brilliant hard-to-fault sound quality throughout. Comes with original and excellent condition original EMI poly-lined advertising inner sleeve, with no side splits or tears, just the hint of some very minor age discolouration towards the top edges and mild creasing towards the top corners. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. An excellent plus condition copy of this 1971 UK 1st press Pink Floyd classic, increasingly hard to come by especially in condition as truly impressive as this.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
