HARVEST RECORDS SHVL 781 from 1970.
*FIRST PRESSING MATRIXES* ending A-1/B-1
A progressive album indeed for Pink Floyd, coming after Ummagumma and before Meddle. Again there are some individual compositions, the longer group pieces are themed and in some ways tongue in cheek at the same time as being cleverly conceived.
They were past releasing singles by this time the hits were the domain of Syd Barrett, who was previously the protagonist, namer and leader of the band, but his influence was almost forgotten by this point, they had put out a full live disc of old material on the last lp though (disregarding soundtrack material).
VINYL IN VISUALLY NEAR MINT CONDITION, Inspected under a bright desk lamp.
It's a lovely copy!
Classic GREEN LABLES are bright, and clean, NM.
GATEFOLD COVER in VG CONDITION, some wear, some discolouration on the edges, small sticker tear lightly repaired/coloured in - see photos.
The COMPANY INNER SLEEVE is included in VG condition, poly liner removed.
Definitely a scarce and highly collectible lp edition of a highly regarded release.
