PINK FLOYD ~ A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS LP

 

Original 1968 U.K. first issue mono pressing released on the blue and black Columbia label SX 6258.

Wow !!!  Absolutely stunning mono copy of the Floyd's second album.  Now very rare and almost impossible to find in this condition.

The laminated flip-back sleeve is gorgeous.  Virtually no wear at all.  No splits, tears or writing.  Just perfect crisp edges.  There aren't even any signs of ageing on the rear.  The flip-backs are all lovely and there isn't any corner wear.  The colours on the front are still very deep and rich.  The only imperfection that close examination reveals is one small and very light laminate crease near the opening edge.  Ignore any camera glare that you see along the bottom edge.  This sleeve is as NEAR to MINT as you're ever likely to find.

The vinyl is as good as the sleeve !  Amazingly clean with a deep and full sheen.  Virtually no signs of wear even under the brightest of lights.  Again, as NEAR to MINT as they come.  Even the labels are beautiful.  None of the fingerprints or stains that you normally find on labels of this age.  Just really bright and shiny with nothing more than a couple of small spindle marks.  You simply won't find a better copy even if you search from now until doomsday.  Also comes complete with the original printed inner sleeve.  Wonderful !
