Up for bids: a RARE ORIGINAL ISSUE *STEREO* copy of the classic self-titled debut LP by legendary Boston eclectic folk/psych masters, PHLUPH.

On VERVE RECORDS, V6/5054. Runoff area reads V6-5054 SIDE 1 MYS-1470, and V6-5054 SIDE 2 MYS-1471 on flip side.

This one runs the gamut, from heavy psychedelic ROCK (notice the all caps) to lighter, breezier folk-influenced experimentalism. Whatever they're playing, though, they play it well. Great record - I'll miss it when it's gone. Better bid now, before I change my mind and keep it!

Vinyl is EX to EX+ (GOLDMINE standards), or 8-8.5 out of 10: only very light surface wear over most of the disc (when found at all - it's pretty clean); one small scuffed area near the end of 'Lovely Lady' (side 2 track 2) that does NOT affect playback.  Very clean playback with no appreciable background noise.   Cover has a small "cutout bin" hole punch near lower spine, but is otherwise in excellent condition with high color and gloss, excellent front & rear images, and only very minor corner and edgewear. NO split seams and NO appreciable ringwear.
