Description

This is an original pressing on Tribe Records,Cat# TRCD- 4006 Tribe vol.6 (stereo) The condition of the cover is (EX) There are no split seams, saw-cuts or drill holes. The only "eyesores" being a small stain on the left, front, and the right hand upper corner has a been "dogeared" since the corner was bent. Other than that the cover is clean, front and back (see pix) The condition of the vinyl is a strong (EX+) The green label is almost free from any spindle marks, and the vinyl is still bright & shiny, with one or two paper scuffs that have no affect upon the fidelity which is terrific! There is one surface mark that is about 2 inches long, but it is only a surface mark and cannot be heard, even during the most quiet of passages! Recorded during late '73 and early '74 it was released in the latter part of 1974. Track listing is: (A) The Time Now For A Change/ Time Is Running Out (B) Of Times Gone By/ Black Destiny/13th and Senate & He The One We All Knew,pt.1 Phil on trombone, gets help from:Wendell Harrison-tenor/ Marcus Belgrave-flugelhorn/ Bill Turner-drums/ George Davidson-drums/ Keith Vreeland-piano/ John Dana-bass/ Reggie Fields-bass/ Charles Moore-trumpet/ Haroun El Nil-alto.
