You are considering a GENTLY USED copy of the NBC Radio Entertainment Networks transcription radio show entitled Countdown To Christmas and featuring Phil Collins and Genesis. The forty-five minute show features host Billy Crystal playing Side One of Genesis' 1983 self titled release in its entirety followed by several solo Phil Collins tracks on Side B. Side A also contains several interview segments with Genesis band member Mike Rutherford, while Side B includes interview segments with Collins. This show was part of a series Crystal did featuring artists such as Bruce Springsteen, The Who, The Police, The Cars, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin and others. Each LP contained one side of a classic album plus a "Fantasy Side 2" of selected songs by the artist, interspersed with Billy Crystal's comedy bits, comments from the artists, and commercials from Old Spice, AT&T, U.S. Army, etc. The songs featured on this LP can be viewed on the Cue Sheet, a PHOTOCOPY of which will be included with the LP.
NOTE: The labels on this LP are switched with the Side 1 label affixed to Side 2 and vice-versa.
This LP has been PLAY TESTED, and is in VG+ condition, with a few hairlines which do not affect playback. As you may know, these shows were sent to radio stations for one time broadcast, after which, they were meant to be destroyed or sent back to the network. That makes this item a VERY RARE collectors piece which will only increase in value. You will not find another copy for this low price on eBay!
