You are considering a GENTLY USED copy of the ABC Rock Radio Networks transcription radio show entitled Super Groups In Concert and featuring a live performance by Phil Collins. This is a three LP radio broadcast show recorded live at Perkins Palace, Pasadena, California on 19 December 1982, during Phil's first ever solo tour.
The vinyl LPs are in VG+ condition, with great shine and luster, and virtually zero defects whatsoever except for some slight storage warping at the start of each LP. This warping does create some audio distortion during the first two to three minutes of each LP, but the records DO NOT SKIP. (The best way I can describe this sound distortion is that it sounds like a "swoosh" sound every rotation and while the host is announcing the segments.) The audio smooths out very soon after the records begin to play, and there are no further audio issues. They have been *PLAY TESTED* and play without any other issues with the exception of the aforementioned warping. This set comes with PHOTOCOPIES of the original Programing Letter and two Cue Sheets, which you can view for a complete track listing. I have also included a photocopy of the original advert which was produced at the time of the original broadcast in April of 1983. Finally, this set will come with a brand new, plain white gatefold sleeve. As you may know, these shows were sent to radio stations for one time broadcast, after which, they were meant to be destroyed or sent back to D.I.R. That makes this item a VERY RARE collectors piece which will only increase in value. You will not find another copy of this anywhere on eBay! This is a spectacular concert radio show, and you can get it now for a drastically reduced price because of the warping issues.
*NOTE: This set was originally produced as a four LP set, with a fourth vinyl that contained a live version of the track I Cannot Believe It's True on Side A, and the album version on Side B. This fourth LP is NOT included in this listing, however, the live version of the song IS performed during the concert.
