Visually stunning, the original Garrod and Lofthouse flipback sleeve is superb - just very slight storage wear mainly to the bottom of the front and a bit of uneveness on the opening edges. You'd be very hard pressed to find a better sleeve. Inner sleeve is also superb. Overall sleeve condition is NEAR MINT.
The record is excellent, just a few very light superficial lines mainly from bag removal. The labels too are excellent - there is a very tiny spindle mark on side 2 but nothing visible on side 1. Visually EX+
Audio quality is overall superb - amazingly quiet throughout, just the tiniest evidence of dust in one or two places. No pops, clicks or jumps. Part of track 1 on side 2 (Bath Sheba) does have a few very short moments of slight static noise but they are very brief (~0.25s each). Otherwise the audio is quite glorious. The spellbinding 'Black Marigolds' is unaffected. Overall audio quality is EX+.
A fantastic copy of a much sought-after LP.
A new inner sleeve will be provided. The record will be very securely packaged in a cruciform mailer with added protection.
What I thought was wear towards the bottom of the front cover of the sleeve is in fact the stage floor as photographed so sleeve condition is very much closer to mint.
