Title:  Peter-Thomas-Sound-Orchester(New Astronautic Sound):Raumpatrouille

P.Thomas’ original score for the 1966 TV-serial ”Space Patrol-The phantastic adventures of the space-ship ORION”.It’s the german pressing on the blue-silver FONTANA label,6434 261;it does NOT have  the LC code,wich has been used from the mid-the 70ies onwards,so it is definitely an earlier pressing.This is to this day Germany’s one and only Science Fiction-serial and it contains some of the weirdest music P.Thomas’ has ever written:space bossa,scat vox,hammond EZ jazz,small combo- to large orchestra-settings,12-tone escapades,lounge music of the year 3000,sci-fi sounds etc.Essential and highly recommended!

Condition:the record looks ex++,there are some harmless superficial,non-feelable and non-sounding papersleeve-lines,to be seen only under a strong light;the record plays in mint- all of the time.The cover has intact seams/spine,there’s some rub on the upper seam and slightest rub on the bottom seam;front and back are real nice with only slightest shelfwear,overall ex+.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
