VERY RARE privately pressed LP by High Desert, California singer / songwriter Peter M. Klimes. This was his first LP release and without a doubt the most difficult to find. This release had plain white labels and the number designation is only in the dead wax run off. Well known musicians on the LP include Jerry Yester (The Lovin’ Spoonful, Rosebud, Yester & Henske) and Donna Weiss (solo, Joe Cocker, Maddogs & Englishmen).
Peter Klimes was born into a musical family. He has backed a lot of well-known musicians including Jon Bon Jovi, Mick Fleetwood, Billy Preston, Rita Coolidge, Phoebe Snow, Billy Burnett, Beka Bramlett, Jim Messina, Johnny Lee, Michael McDonald and more. He has released four albums and currently has a video on YouTube that has had over 17000 hits. He has album credits on 12 other albums including Tom Waits Closing Time Album, Delaney Bramlett - Three Albums, The Association and Chained Band - Independent Released Album.
He also was the voice for Big Al at Disney's Country Bear Jamboree.
He performed throughout the San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley, High Desert, West L.A., Hollywood, Topanga Canyon, Dallas, and other places on both coasts and in Hawaii. He passed away December 10, 2014.
NOTE: Check out the design and lettering on the back cover of this LP. It is very similar to Rick Griffith in style and amazingly similar to Griffith’s design for the back cover of The Eagles’ “On The Border”.
Don’t miss this one. It’s a killa.
Stored vertically in a smoke free environment for 27 years.
