Peter Hammill 'The Future Now' Brand X 'Masques' 1978 Advert One entire page carefully removed from UK Trade magazine Music Week Original item, not a copy or reproduction Magazine paper is smooth, not rough like a newspaper, and so print quality is better than a newspaper Adverts from Music Week were usually unique and different to the adverts that ran in consumer titles like NME, Melody Maker etc, because Music Week adverts were created for retailers, distributers and professionals within the industry. As a result, Music Week adverts were often special designs or contained special information. No advert collection will be complete without them. Copies of Music Week from the 1970s are very difficult to find.
