Description

UP for auction is a truly RARE FIND. This is a TEST PRESS of Peter Appleyard Presents. For those of yo that don't know what a test press is here is a shortr explanation. In 1978 PeterAppleyard and his group decided to cut a direct to disc LP During C.E.S. in TorontoAfter the session was over a lot of 200 TEST PRESSES were made. A test press is what a slave is pressed from. This copy is SIGNED AND NUMBERED BY PETER APPLEYARD.There are no fancy graphics or artwork just Peter Appleyards Signature and the number 49 each side is marked TEST PRESS P.A.P.,A. and B.There is a water stain on the jacket but in no way affects the LP itself. This copy has never been played or even deburred.Fortunatly I have an opened copy which I've transposed to tape on my Studer. This is without a doubt a TRUE COLLECTORS ITEM.I will be listing a variety of Audiophile LPs this week so keep checking back and be sure to check out my store.IF you have questions email me before you bid or buy
