Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1970 HIGH QUALITY UK PRESSING of the LP titled 'Thousands On A Raft' from the English prog-rock band Pete Brown & Piblokto. It is a stereo UK Harvest label LP, catalog number SHVL 782. They don't make 'em like this anymore, records like this are why European pressings have the reputation of being far superior to U.S. pressings - this record is pressed on HEAVY, RIGID VINYL WHICH APPEARS TO BE VIRGIN VINYL, and comes packaged in a LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER. Personnel: Pete Brown-vocal, talking drums, conga; Jim Mullen-guitar, bass guitar, percussion; Dave Thompson-keyboards, soprano sax, mellotron, precussion; Steve Glover-bass guitar, percussion; Rob Tait-drums, percussion. Tracks: Aeroplane Head Woman, Station Song Platform Two, Highland Song, If They Could Only See Me Now Parts I & II, Got A Letter From A Computer, Thousands On A Raft. Condition of record is conservatively VG+/VG++ with a couple of light surface marks which cannot be felt and which do not affect play, no other visible flaws. Condition of cover is also VG+ with a very few wrinkles in the lamination on the cover, a little contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. There is no writing, stickers, tears, or splits. A high quality original 1970 UK pressing for your English prog-rock LP collection! Winning bidder pays $3.25 insured media mail postage or actual insured priority mail postage within the U.S. E-mail me for shipping rates outside the U.S. Personal checks must clear. I now accept payment via PayPal. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
