Description
This is the Original 1977 Vinyl LP from these Chicago area Prog Rock Legends!
This Record is on the Original BEEF Records Label; 3352 W. Foster, Chicago Illinois.
This is Pentwater's debut first LP.
On back cover, it says "All selections recorded, produced and arranged at Pentwater Studios, June-November 1977."
Most of the songs are copyright 1978 and as the recording went into November 1977, I guess they were projecting
a couple months ahead and copyrighting the songs 1978.
I've gone back and forth on which year to list this as but as Pentwater's official website lists the LP as 1977, I'll
go with that date.
This LP has the original two-sided insert/lyric sheet. Please see image #6 for a look at this insert.
Front Cover Art is by Japanese-American artist KUNIO HAGIO, who was born and raised in Chicago.
Back cover and lyric sheet insert is credited to Scott Marshall,

I've provided six images which you can "Super-Size" for best looks. Sorry for the somewhat weird angles of the photos.
I was getting a lot of camera glare. For example, that bright white area you see at bottom of front cover images are
just camera glare and not on the actual record jacket.
Visually the vinyl looks excellent. Over all, on my turntable, this played in excellent condition except for the following spots:
I heard light surface noise throughout cut #3(Memo) on Side One.
I also heard light surface noise on the quieter moments on cut #4 (Orphan Girl), also on Side One.
I could hear no other surface noise on the rest of the cuts on either side.
The front & back covers and spine all look very nice with just some very light wear. There is some semi-circular light rubbing at the top & bottom (ring wear from the impression of the vinyl). Really not bad at all, though, as I hope you can see in the
front & back cover images I've provided.
I have had this record for many years and have taken very good care of it.
The jacket is in a protective plastic sleeve.
There are NO cut-out punch-holes and there are NO clipped corners.
Both Sides of the label are very excellent looking; very clean and bright red.
