PAVEMENT - Slanted and Enchanted - MATADOR Records TEST PRESSING! This is the a Rare TEST PRESSING of Matador 038 (Slanted and Enchanted by PAVEMENT). Only a handful of test pressings are ever made and are only possessed by the record label or band members. I acquired this 12 years ago while working in a record store. This is the same version that was originally released (Sorry no hidden tracks or different mixes). The matrix number is OLE-038 1A and OLE-038 1B. Also, in stamped lettering it says “mastered by trutone” on both sides of the dead wax. This LP is in a plain white cover that has writing across the bottom from the previous owner (Matador employee?). The upper left corner has what I assume to be in-house notations from Matador (see photos). There are a few hundred of the Slay Tracks 7”s out there but only and handful of this test pressing for Slanted and Enchanted. This is the only one I have ever seen. Don’t miss out! The vinyl still looks brand new and is graded M- ! My grading is careful so bid with confidence. All records are professionally packed for shipping. U.S. priority shipping is $7 or 4th class/Media rate is $4. Insurance is an additional $1.65, if desired (I would recommend insurance for Media mail). Shipping to Canada is $7.
