Description

Paul Whiteman plays Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue again, this time in 1947 with Earl Wild at the piano. This is Whiteman's first complete recording of this piece, which his orchestra was the first to play at that historic performance back in 1924. Two 12" 78 records on Signature album GP-1. Both discs are in beautiful condition, E+ with barely a mark on them. They play perfectly and quite beautifully. The cover has a little wear but is fully intact with solid binding and secure record pockets. A very nice copy, and a lovely recording.
