PAUL McCARTNEY THRILLINGTON US LP RARE
Capitol ST 11642 USA 1977
This is a commercial, stock copy of Paul McCartney's most obscure and
least known album - Thrillington. The album, an instrumental, orchestrated
version of his Ram LP, was hardly noticed by the press or the rest of the
music world.
I bought this LP the day it was released as I was working in a record store
at the time. Most of the US copies sold on eBay have a hole punched in
the cover—which some people say indicates a promo copy of the LP
though many of the punched copies are cut-outs. This copy has no hole
as it is a definitely a commercial copy.
I’ve played this LP only a couple times. I would strictly grade the record M-
and the cover VG++. (It has some very slight minor scuffing on the bottom edge
from sitting on my record shelf foe the last 30 years).
