Fantastic Paul McCartney & Wings sealed album entitled, "Red Rose Speedway". This album is now 45 years old and is the original 1973 release on Apple Records SMAL-3409 in NM- condition overall .
This is a beautiful, original, sealed copy of the 1973 gatefold album, "Red Rose Speedway". Four very nice corners and this is a very thick and heavy album, given the gatefold and a thick 12-page booklet included inside. These sealed Wings LPs are getting harder to find in this condition.
The spine is lovely and the bottom seam is just as nice. The top seam has a 1/2" or so split (straight above the hype sticker) on the front cover side of the gatefold. There is just over a 1" split in the shrink dead in the middle of the mouth (obviously caused over the years by the thick booklet inside that pushes the covers apart). There are two breathe holes on the front cover (one by Paul's right eye and the other by the word "Red"). This LP has been priced accordingly, based on these factors.
The shrink is real nice and tight with four nice corners. There is a promo hole that goes through the upper right corner of the front cover (right corner of hype sticker which is very common to see on these).
Naturally, this first pressing has the customized braille letters on the bottom back cover (A message from Paul and the band to Stevie Wonder, which reads "We love ya, baby".   No store stickers, residue, saw marks, cuts or shrink splitting - just the clean, round promo hole!
