Description
Paul McCartney - 'Wings At The Speed Of Sound'. PAS 10010.
Paul McCartney and Wings 1976 UK 1st press 'Wings At The Speed Of Sound' LP. Released on the 17th April 1976, this LP comes in STUNNING MINT- condition and with a number of Wings/EMI promo items. A very much underrated album. Featuring some of Paul's finest songs of the 1970's - 'Let em In', 'Silly Love Songs' and 'Must Do Something About It' to name a few.
This album is quite exceptional for a number of reasons. Firstly, this LP was obtained directly from the 'Wings Fun Club' just prior to the release date back in 1976. Incredibly it still comes housed within the original Wings promo bag just as it was received. It also includes a Wings/EMI comp slip and a small memo hand written note - 'Enjoy the record regards'. Very, very importantly the LP was stored in perfect condition and was NEVER PLAYED. As such the LP, cover, inner sleeve, labels, promo bag and comp slip/memo note are all in MINT- condition. This comes from a large collection of Paul McCartney memorabilia now listed on eBay.
